Every blessing has a face and a story. Some of these people asked us not to use their names — so we tell it the way they told us, and leave the rest out.
The three below are sample stories in the right voice — replace them with real ones (names and photos only with permission).
"My car died the same week rent was due. Someone from my church made a call, and a few days later the repair was just… covered. I never even filled out a form. I sat in my driveway and cried."
"After my wife passed, the bills got ahead of me. A neighbor mentioned it to her pastor. Why Not Bless kept my lights on that winter — and left a note that just said, 'you are loved.'"
"We were drowning after our son's hospital stay. The blessing didn't just help us pay — it reminded us we weren't alone. Now we look for people we can bless."
Every story on this page started the same way — a pastor, a teacher or a neighbour saw a need and picked up the phone. That is the whole process.
